Isa Hukka is a writer and a bilingual translator. Hukka lives in Helsinki where they were born, although parts of them reside in Pohjois-Pohjanmaa, Copenhagen and Montréal/Tiohti:àke. Hukka translates poetry and does live translation as well. Hukka writes many things from stage poetry to academic texts. Having worked in the field of disability arts and studied Philosophy and Gender Studies, Hukka specializes in crip, queer, and disabled texts, contexts, and understandings.
