Languages don’t have borders, so allow yourself to travel with Transpoesie! Embark on a journey across Europe as you hear poets from six different countries from all corners of the continent reading their work in their own languages. The opening event of the 10th edition of Transpoesie, organized on the Day of European Languages and Linguistic Diversity, brought to you six poets – six female voices, which shared their poetic journey in their consecutive native languages, with English translation.
Organized in collaboration with Versopolis, the online reading - moderated by the Belgian Sigrid BOUSSET - featured Marlèna BRAESTER (Israel), Denisa COMĂNESCU (Romania), Katja GOREČAN (Slovenia), Giedrė KAZLAUSKAITĖ (Lithuania), Caroline SIMON (Luxembourg) and Sigurbjörg ÞRASTARDÓTTIR (Iceland).
