Ivars Šteinbergs (1991) is a poet and critic living in Riga, Latvia. His debut book “Strops” (“Hive”) was published by “Neputns” in 2020. In 2017, he received a Fulbright grant to study comparative literature in the U.S.A., and he earned his M.A. at the State University of New York at Binghamton in 2018. Currently, Šteinbergs works at the Institute of Literature, Folklore and Art of the University of Latvia (ILFA) and is a doctoral student at the Latvian Academy of Culture.
