Patras World Poetry Festival

The Poetry Foundation – Grafeion Poiiseos functions in a Cultural frame, organizing events and outreach programs related to Poetry, in Greece and from abroad as well. It cooperates with Cultural Bodies, Universities and Region of Western Greece, while its initiatives are supported by the Ministry of Culture and other Educational Institutions abroad.

Every year Poetry Foundation organizes the Poetry Meeting “PATRAS WOLRD POETRY FESTIVAL” presenting reknown poets coming from various countries.

The Festival's program consists of 5-7 days of events and activities in various venues, such as poetry readings, portrait presentations, guided tours, exhibitions and tributes. This great meeting is sealed with a very special literary edition, which is a unique publication of the poems of the 50 participants, in each artist's language, also in Greek and English.
