His writing appears in The Atlantic, Black Warrior Review, Tin House, TriQuarterly, New England Review, and he is currently a Nonfiction Editor for Gulf Coast. His chapbook, Daddy Issues, was published in 2017 from The Cupboard Pamphlet. He has received fellowships from The Bread Loaf Writers' Conference, The Elizabeth George Foundation, and The National Parks Service.
