Valentina Bošković Marković
Dr Valentina Bošković Marković is a sociolinguist and Assistant Professor at Singidunum University in Belgrade, specialising in sociolinguistics, applied linguistics, gender studies and language education. She holds a BA in English Language and Literature, an MA in American Literature and a PhD in Sociolinguistics from the University of Belgrade. Her research focuses particularly on gender-sensitive language, language ideology, gender equality and contemporary approaches to education. She is the author of the monograph Žene u jeziku: borci ili borkinje? (2021), which examines gender-sensitive language and public discourse in Serbia. Her more recent work also explores digital pedagogy and the integration of artificial intelligence into higher education. She collaborates with Knjiženstvene on activities and public discussions addressing language, gender equality and the role of gender-sensitive language in contemporary society.
