Muhammad Moheuddin
Muhammad Moheuddin is a Bangladeshi fiction writer, editor and playwright, author of eleven novels and two short story collections. His debut novel, Nishachar Abed Ali (2000), won the National Professor Kabir Chowdhury Best Literary Award in 2001. He is the founding editor of GOLPOKAR, Bangladesh’s first monthly literary journal devoted to fiction, and founder of GOLPOKAR Publishing House. A former two-term Secretary General and current board member of PEN International Bangladesh Centre, he also serves on the Steering Committee of PEN International’s Translation and Linguistic Rights Committee and the Advisory Board of the Writers for Peace Committee, representing PEN Bangladesh at five PEN International Congresses in South Korea, India, the Philippines, Sweden, France, Croatia and Poland.
