Liesbeth Huijer

Liesbeth Huijer (1972) translates from Norwegian and Swedish into Dutch. She studied Dutch Language at Leiden University and Scandinavian Studies at the Universities of Trondheim and Oslo. She published several Dutch translations of Norwegian poetry in magazines and also whole collections of poetry by Norwegian poets Nils Chr. Moe-Repstad, Ruth Lillegraven, Mona Høvring and Marte Huke, and by Swedish poet Ulf Karl Olov Nilsson / UKON. She also translates novels, thrillers and children’s books.
