Ewa Suh & Lynn Suh

Ewa Suh holds an M.A. in English Language and Literature from the Pedagogical University in Kraków, Poland. She translates from Polish, Korean, and English. She is the co-translator of Hysteria by Kim Yideum (2022) and Autobiography of Death by Kim Hyesoon (2023). The latter was shortlisted for the 2024 Ossolineum Award for Poetry in Translation. Her Polish translations of Korean poetry have recently appeared in Zakład Magazyn. She lives in Seoul, South Korea.

Lynn Suh, originally from Boston, MA, is a translator of Polish literature. He was based in Krakow, Poland for nine years during which time he co-founded and edited WIDMA: A Journal of American and Polish Verse, and translated for The Polish Book Institute (Instytut Książki) as well as other cultural institutions. His poetry translations have appeared in Fence, Berlin Quarterly, Versopolis, and biBLioteka. He is the co-translator into Polish (with Ewa Suh and Katarzyna Szuster-Tardi) of Histeria by Kim Yideum (Biuro Literackie, 2022) and Autobiografia śmierci by Kim Hyesoon (Biuro Literackie, 2023). He currently lives in Seoul, South Korea.
