Céline De-Saër
- France -
A graduate both in Modern literature and Foreign French language at the new Sorbonne (Paris III), Céline De-Saër is altogether a literature companion, facilitator of writing workshops, coach, artistic mediator (as she owns a deep certified training). She carries on her path with art therapy. As an author, she falls within the field of poetry, fragment, poetic prose, photography, and sound at times. A loud voice reader of her own texts or invited to read others’, she also participates in various artistic projects and events (open stage, writing residence, fair, festival, symposium).
Published in reviews over several years, her first two collections were issued in 2024: Tremblement d’éther (“Ether tremor”, Éd. Unicité) and La veine des étoiles phonétiques (“The vein of phonetic stars”, Éd. Atelier de l’agneau). She works at being a “words transmitter”.
A graduate in Modern Literature and French as a Foreign Language from the Sorbonne Nouvelle (Paris III), Céline is a poet, literary coach, writing workshop leader, trainer, artistic mediator (with extensive and certified training), and continues her journey in art therapy.
As a literary coach, she guides the writing of books and personal projects (poetry, novels, short stories, testimonies, life stories, stories of practice and experience).
Workshop facilitator, trainer and artistic mediator, she works in various places: bookstores, primary schools, middle schools, high schools, adapted professional establishments, priority education networks, child welfare services, reinforced education centers, temporary accommodation centers; with students (social work, F.L.E.), adults (literary writing), the elderly and those subject to memory loss.
She uses her primary medium – writing, as well as other media (graphic arts, audio-video) to respond to orders, inventing proposals around different themes (gender equality, in connection with the Observatory of Equality; human-animal relationship, in connection with the M.N.H.N.; heritage-matrimony; in situ creation).
As an author, she explores poetry, fragments, poetic prose, photography, and sound, and asserts herself as a "word-mover."
She increasingly explores this latter sonic path: "speaking" alone, accompanied by music, or even during radio broadcast recordings. She also reads aloud her own texts and is invited to read those of others.
She participates at the same time in various events: open stages, writing residencies, conferences, fairs, festivals (Baie des plumes, l’Autre Livre, C’Mouvoir, Du Haut des Cimes de Ménilmontant, Expoésie, Livre de Paris, Voix Vives de Méditerranée en Méditerranée, 3027 Festival, Marché de la Poésie) and various artistic projects (collective collection of poetry and photographs with Nancy Huston and the Association 3027; writing based on the exhibition of a decorative painter at the Paris Opera, in cinema and live performance – with carte blanche in the gallery for workshops and voice-overs; writing based on musical compositions and watercolors; workshop in a mountain refuge, as part of a photographic exhibition).
She has been published in magazines for several years (L’intranquille, Étoiles d’Encre, Entre deux Rives) and her first two books were published in 2024 (Tremblement d’éther, Éditions Unicité and La veine des étoiles phonétiques, Atelier de l’agneau).
Her current projects, her subject matter and her material evolve through the following themes: ecopoetics, migration, the social and society, the body and women.
Weaving between passages of words: the discovery of Marguerite Duras, around the age of 13, was a major event. It was the entry into Durassie. It was in Trouville-sur-Mer that Tremblement d’éther was written.
Entering the land of writing: this is the meeting with Chloé Delaume, patron of the Villa Valmont, patron of a writing residency and of a project in progress, dedicated to women, the female body, and their place in the City.
In the land of writing: it is the residency at La Factorie - Maison de Poésie / Normandy - which opens a research extending to the national and international territory, starting from the mineral element.
In the land of writing: of poetry, of expressions. It is a way and a manner of "taking language", of taking "flesh of writing", of exploring languages, voices. It is what she likes to call a "laboratory".
Work, loom, passing words, journey: living between the currents.
