Click (Klikk)

Poetry Expo 2026

The musical adaptation of the contemporary poem titled Click (Klikk) aims to draw attention – especially for the younger generation – to the importance of culture, true values, and genuine emotions, as opposed to the pseudo-reality dominating social media. The poem is ironic, the music supports the thoughtfulness of the text, yet it is characterized by an eclectic pop-rock lightness.

The video was directed by Zoltán Bendegúz Szabó award winner of First Cut! Youth Film International Film Festival 2020.

This poem was written by the winner of the prestigious Hungarian poetry prize (Kölcsey-prize, 2025): Zoltán Schwalm.

The project is part of the subhteme Disrupted Realities – Poetry and the Politics of Truth, Unruly Forms – Experiments in the Poetic Wild.
