The Harmony of ing and isms

Poetry Expo 2026

The Harmony of ing and isms emerges from a sustained act of wandering—a meander through the inner labyrinth of the self. The work interrogates inherited and cherished ideologies (“isms”), bringing their shadows, weight, and contradictions into view, not to discard them outright but to allow them to breathe, shift, and transform.

Set against the restless movement of “ing”—becoming, questioning, passing through—the project traces a dynamic process of rupture and reconciliation. Each step forward is marked by reflection and recalibration, as motion and meaning, impulse and conviction, are brought into dialogue. Rather than offering fixed conclusions, the work embraces flux as method and awareness as practice.

The meander is purposeful: it moves toward the emergence of the highest self. In this space, identity unfolds unbound and luminous, not through certainty, but through the harmonisation of change and belief. The Harmony of ing and isms positions becoming itself as an ethical and spiritual act—an ongoing arrival shaped by movement, doubt, and attentive presence.

The project is part of the subtheme Writing After – Catastrophe, Memory, and the Archive of Loss.
