The Question

Poetry Expo 2026

Why Am I Here? is a transformative docuseries and podcast that explores what it means to be human while holding the memory of infinity. The project engages with the fundamental question of existence – purpose, presence, and belonging – through a layered approach combining narrative, sound, and experiential reflection.

Each episode unfolds as a guided journey into self-discovery and awakening, inviting listeners and viewers to slow down, listen deeply, and reconnect with authentic creative expression. Rather than offering definitive answers, the series opens a reflective space in which personal experience, imagination, and inner questioning intersect.

Episode 1 marks the beginning of this twelve-part experiment in self-inquiry. Positioned as both documentary and creative practice, it frames self-discovery as an evolving process shaped by attention, vulnerability, and curiosity. The project treats creativity not as a product, but as a mode of understanding – an active dialogue with life’s most profound and enduring questions.

The project is part of the subthemes Writing After – Catastrophe, Memory, and the Archive of Loss, Poetic Infrastructures – Reclaiming Space, Building Commons.
