Elephant Path is a poetry recital of the poem of the same name. The inspiration comes from a creative assignment I was given to present my team and its work. It is about integrity within existing structures and daring to deviate from expectations that undermine one's own vision. An elephant path is the unofficial route that is more efficient and therefore faster. Sometimes we are sent on all kinds of detours purely because of bureaucratic processes. However, decisions are more often made through informal channels. Faster does not always mean better, though. Change must be supported by a widely accepted idea, pioneering work combined with being in the field.
