‘Legends of the City on Stone’ is a poetic audiovisual project about the history of the ancient Ukrainian city of Kamianets-Podilskyi. It is broadcast in a panoramic format in a historical building – a tower. Instead of a screen, the wall of the tower is used. This gives atmosphere to our projects. This film is a parable about Time – a dragon who lives under the city and collects the treasures of its history. He dreams that one day people will stop accumulating treasures only for themselves, and then he will be able to fly. Because Time – a dragon is waiting for his heroes - who are not afraid of him, because they are not burdened by greed. This film is a parable based on real historical events of the city of Kamianets-Podilskyi. The film uses historical and modern artifacts, chronicles and photo sources. With love for the city on stone.
The project is part of the subthemes Writing After – Catastrophe, Memory, and the Archive of Loss, Unruly Forms – Experiments in the Poetic Wild.
