The video project presentation beautifully captures the happiness that emerges from navigating the chaos of creativity. Happiness in poetry isn’t always about joy alone—it’s about the exhilaration of finding meaning in the mess, the satisfaction of taming wild thoughts into a coherent, expressive form.
Imagine the thought bubble as a representation of life’s infinite possibilities—some exhilarating, some overwhelming. At times, we feel we are flailing, uncertain and lost. Yet, like the poet resting easy, we learn that happiness comes not from avoiding complexity, but from embracing it. Lines become lassoes when we find joy in crafting our own narratives, pulling scattered ideas into shapes that reflect our truth.
Just as poetry is a dance between chaos and order, happiness is a balance between the unpredictability of life and the meaning we create. This metaphor reminds us that happiness is found in the process of transforming fleeting thoughts and raw emotions into lasting expressions of beauty and purpose. It is the joy of creation itself—the art of turning confusion into clarity, and words into wonder.
The project is part of the subtheme Healing Narratives - Poetry, Mental Health and Collective Trauma.
