Offbeat, a visual manifest of Démodérnism. The unclassic, the unmodern, the classic, the modern, the avant-garde the après-garde in a detached, multilingual and poetic form.
It's presented in a video-poetry format, fimed in a modern villa in Cascais, Portugal, in the spring of 2027.
It comprises a referential account of authors who's work has shaped cultural modernity, using takes showing different imagery, from modern architecture, classic sculpture, nature and light, in order to juxtapose styles, in consonance with the Demodern manifesto itself.
The project is part of the subthemes Re-imagining identity through poetry, Cultural Resilience - Literature as a force for social justice.
