H2O, Water, Water, Water

Poetry Expo 25

We wriggled out of water to become human beings.  What have we done to water.  We have changed water. Water is simply not the same.  It has raised in temperature causing human suffering around the globe.  Every day the news is full of dire results from a climate change.

Now we are paying a higher price for are folly.  Water should be FREE.  Let's go back and explore this assertion with a free thought.

This tautogram poem proclaims what we use water for, than leads the reader to a personal experience that reveals why water should be free like the air we breathe. We should not be charged for water.

The project is part of the subthemes The Ecology of Language - Poetry and Environmental Action, Healing Narratives - Poetry, Mental Health and Collective Trauma, Cultural Resilience - Literature as a force for social justice.
