Landscapes painted on film

Poetry Expo 25

As an artist and an individual, the poet encounters poetry in everyday life. They believe that poetry is both lived and chosen, yet many people embody poetry through their actions and lives without being aware of it. According to the poet, moments of beauty—whether poetic or anti-poetic, which may be the purest form of poetry—constantly surround us. However, the challenge lies in recognizing and granting these moments the time and space they deserve, as they can emerge through daily tasks or from the subconscious itself.

Through writing, filmmaking, and visual art, the poet seeks to create space for these moments—those that unsettle and inspire. With this brief selection of texts and films, they present Landscapes Painted on Film, a project born from the need to share these instances of wonder—drawn from the everyday, the subconscious, and the images and processes that have shaped them over the years.

The project is part of the subtheme Healing Narratives - Poetry, Mental Health and Collective Trauma.
