Mirko Boncaldo, was born in the same town as Emilio Isgrò, is perpetually twenty-five years old, lives in Bologna, organises trips to the future and takes interest in gender and environmental issues. He is the author of Subverses (2025), published in French by Le Lys Bleu, and Senza Titoli. Sovversi (2022), published in Italian by Transeuropa, which was a finalist for the International Nabokov Prize and Lorenzo Montano Prize. He has also completed Senzanome (Nameless), which he is co-translating in English with the poet and translator Ranald Barnicot (1948), and which was a finalist for the International Prize Fondazione Amedeo Modigliani. His verses have been published in anthologies and literary magazines such as International Poetry Review, Italian Poetry Review, Il Segnale, Frequenze Poetiche, Articoli Liberi, CedroMag, and on digital literary magazines and blogs, L’Estroverso, Carte Sensibili, Distruttori di Terre, Radura Poetica, L’Incendiario, Versante Ripido, Recours au poème, Poesia Ultracontemporanea, Neutopia, Zibaldoni e altre meraviglie, L’Equivoco, Hook Literary Magazine, and more.
