Where the language goes

Poetry Expo 25

"I’ve read my whole poetry book in front of the camera and than cut all the poetry out. Now, when only starting and ending sounds are left, I can barely recognize what was what. What if it is how this poetry (and not only this) will be perceived in some far far future: some echoes and leftovers of today’s life? No, it doesn’t have to be about the loosing of something. I believe that new words will arrive and the future reader will no more have a feeling that there are no place in the literature for their personality or ways of living. That is where I think and hope the language goes." states the author.

The project is part of the subtheme Re-imagining identity through poetry, Cultural Resilience - Literature as a force for social justice.
