A for Anxiety (A d'Ansietat) is a collaboratively written poem by a group of adolescents aged 14 to 15 from Barcelona. The poem depicts how young people experience anxiety due to various causes, such as academic pressure, the constant need to make decisions, FOMO, shame in front of others, or the fear of loneliness. They express these feelings in their own voices through sensory imagery, colours and references.
The poem you're about to watch has been created for Poetry Expo 25 by some of the students from the poetry workshop for teenagers at Vilamusic school, led by poet Montserrat Costas, creator of Poetria. They meet one Saturday a month to read, discuss, and create poetry.
