synopispis (2023) is a book of poetry written by differently misspelled Iazmin Al-Qaisi. Everything that fits inside is inside: a breathing instrument, an emergency test, and a diary that smells like the kitchen. If you let it turn you around, synopispis will piss you off with its incomplete narratives. This is Jasmin’s first book of poetry on paper, published by SELDOM Press.
For this occasion, the book will turn into a score for sounds of fingers and voice, a performative live reading, a stomach rumble for ears and their living tissues.
Jazmin Al-Qaisi is poems.
