Voices of Resilience

Poetry Expo 24

Voices of Resilience is an immersive and thought-provoking interactive installation that fuses acrylic and china ink paintings from the “Black Ink” and "Enlisted Youth" series, combining them with poetry inspired by the theme of war and child soldiers. This installation aims to shed light on the harrowing experiences of young individuals forced into the horrors of armed conflict. It encourages viewers to engage with the artwork and poetry to gain a deeper understanding of the subject matter while emphasizing the resilience and strength of war survivors.

Works from the exhibition can be seen here:

The project is part of the subthemes Mental health narratives in poetry, Literature as a tool for social equality and Global unity and shared futures.
