Petra Bauman and Reinhard Padinger are both workers in the field of art, more precisely, literature, music and theatre. Each on its own side of the border. They are separated by the Mura river. But the link is Slovenian language, for Petra the mother tongue, for Reinhard a language that he has been learning enthusiastically for 15 years. In fact, they were connected by their love for the theater, they acted together in a theater play. In the "A Day in the Bay" project, Petra Bauman interprets new poems, which will find place in a new poetry book, Reinhard accompanies her on the piano with original musical sequences. Both merge, overflow, give space to each other. Poetry thus becomes music and music poetry, and the personal becomes universal.
The project is part of the subthemes Global unity and shared futures.
