Frau Tistic writes about being a woman. With autism. Without autism. About beeing a woman as a mother. As an artist. As a working mom. As aging. As paging. Every week Frau Tistic bends deeply into her suitcase and pulls out: poetic-columns, interviews, articles, studies, people, other women, with children or without, poems, a poetic videoblog and everything that Frau Tistic comes across on her daily journey. Stuffed to the brim is her impatience, she has had enough of some things in our society, and writes about them, tired of some, not so much of others.

Poetry and literature for her is a tool for social equality and a survival tool for mental health. She collaborates with the American artist Geoffrey Hudson, whose images she is using for her texts.

The project is part of the subthemes Mental health narratives in poetry.
Author
Frau Tistic
Frau Tistic is neurodivergent, neurotic, erotic, exotic, pan, naive, obsessive, active, maybe sometimes fantastic, but definitely always autistic. Her name is Frau Tistic ("Frau" means "woman" in German: "Fr Au Tistic"). Frau Tistic writes about being a woman. With autism. Without autism. About beeing a woman as a mother. As an artist. As a working mom. As aging. As paging. And always in two versions, German and English. Every week Frau Tistic bends deeply into her suitcase and pulls out: a poetic-column, interviews, articles, studies, people, other women, with children or without, and everything that Frau Tistic comes across on her daily journey. Frau Tistics news-reel, maybe navel-reel, there will be definitly some nudity, but maybe different than expected, we'll see? Frau Tistic herself doesn't see so well anymore, she's somewhere in her forties, with children and a life stuffed to the brim, like the suitcase she's carrying. Stuffed to the brim is also her impatience, she has had enough of some things, and writes about them, tired of some, not so much of others.
Frau Tistic's first book will be published in April 2024 in "etcetera press" Berlin:
