119 parole per BAU - Contenitore di Cultura Contemporanea, 2023

Poetry Expo 24

119 words for BAU - Contenitore di Cultura Contemporanea, 2023

The passage lists in sequence the 119 words used to manually personalize the multiples of an unpublished visual table* – [ from the "ascending roots" project, 2021 ] – for BAU - Contenitore di Cultura Contemporanea, 2023.

The piece was born from this experience, with the intention of reproducing what is seen in the image on a sound level, to maintain correspondences between languages on a visual and acoustic level. In the audio track the words erode and overlap, as happens with the words written in the visual table, simulating the trend of a rhizome or a fault-fracture, the physio-bio-logical dimension of writing - of language - on the border between human and non-human.

[* The image in the video is a detail of the visual table]

The project is part of the subthemes Climate Crisis and Poetry and Global unity and shared futures.
