Poethics - three attempts

Poetry Expo 24

1. 'Return' is a lyrical meditation on the Anthropocene that mingles the intimate and the eternal, the biological and the inanimate, the domestic with a sense of deep time, as it seeks to envision transcendence. A collaboration with artist Raluca Popa.

2. 'Kiss Me' is a poetic and immersive voyage into the growing world of plants to rediscover love and explore how to re-entangle ourselves with nature’s sentience and beauty. A collaboration with artist Ruxandra Mitache.

3. AWOL means absent without notice or permission. Based on a true story, this is a video poem trying to resist materialism and consumerism. Created in collaboration with visual artists Dan Perjovschi and Raluca Popa.

The project is part of the subtheme Climate Crisis and Poetry.
