Le Printemps des Poètes is the most extensive poetry festival in France, with both a national and international reach. An exhilarating festival, which operates as a unique, decentralised poetry movement, organising and generating thousands of events across every corner of France by engaging a wide network of authors, publishers, cultural institutions and independent literary structures. Poetry floods schools, universities, bookshops, libraries, media centres, monuments and other cultural venues; it finds a voice in train stations, car parks and on the underground; it carves a path to hospitals, emergency shelters and prisons, resonating in countless other places besides. It reaches abroad, spanning continents far and wide.
