Sarajevo Poetry Days

The international literary event Sarajevo Poetry Days began its existence in 1962. The participation and involvement of authors, not only from BiH and neighboring countries but also from countries around the world is proof of the international significance of this multi-day event. As part of the "Sarajevo Poetry Days", the Writers' Association of Bosnia and Herzegovina awards an award called "Bosnian Stećak" every year.

The goal of this event is to preserve and improve the literary-aesthetic and literary-ethical standards of the written word in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
