Ondřej Buddeus

(1984) is a Czech poet, editor and translator from German and Norwegian. Since 2011, he published several book projects in a variety of genres (from poetry collections, conceptual and collaborative project, literary personal organizer to children`s book) and his texts has been translated into several languages. He co-curated the anthology project DISPLEJ.eu (2014) on contemporary German, Slovak and Czech poetry and was co-editor of the monograph and anthology Sorting Out Words: Literature and Conceptual Tendencies 1949–2015. In 2013, Ondřej was awarded the Jiří Orten Prize, in 2014 the Magnesia Litera Prize and The Most Beautiful Czech Book Award for the children’s book Head in Head (with David Böhm). He is living in Prague.
