Davide Castiglione
Davide Castiglione (b. 1985, Alessandria, Italy) is Associate Professor of Stylistics at Vilnius University, Lithuania. He has published three poetry collections (in Italian) and poems in lit-blogs, magazines, and anthologies, including in English and Lithuanian (translated by Ramunė Brundzaitė). He is also the author of a monograph on difficult poetry, co-editor of a collection of essays on the contemporary Italian poet Cristina Annino, and has written scholarly articles on stylistics and poetics.
His poetry foregrounds lived experience and its social implications without shying away from estrangement and metaphysical resonances.
