“Mingled Memories” is a short story about an old man living on his own in a Smart Home. The Smart Objects that are connected to the Internet of Things have stored data, but also the emotions attached to some events. When the old man thinks out loud the objects capture his memory and react to it by sending data to the printer which reproduces it in form of a QR code. The old man then scans the QR code with his Smartphone.
The short story is published in EPUB3 format and is enriched with QR codes which trigger AR images.
