Universal Poem. Up to The Cosmos

Universal poem, the poem that everyone in the world is writing through twitter, text and through the webpage www.universalpoem.com will be sent on January 30 from Punta Arenas, Chile to the Coalsack Nebula, located 600 light years away from Earth.

Every verse that has been written up to that day will be released through audio waves via satellite.

How will the Universal Poem be launched to the Cosmos?

The Universal Poem will be transformed into radio waves and sent into the cosmos by the Danish company Hygge Universe using a satellite antenna. The radio waves will be projected over the Estrecho de Magallanes on the day of the launching. The action will be broadcast live through the YouTube channels of all the project's collaborators

When and where?

On January 30, 2022, just one year and one month after the creation of Universal Poem. It will be held from Punta Arenas, Chile, within the framework of the activities of Ácrux, a poetry and science festival of the Estrecho de Magallanes, which will bring together Portuguese, Spanish and Chilean poets to commemorate the 500 years of the first European navigation of the Estrecho de Magallanes, which communicates the Atlantic and Pacific oceans.
