"Don't Gather in Groups of More Than One" is new piece by Yuri Andrukhovych, Ukrainian poet, novelist, essayist and translator.

Yuri Andrukhovych (1960, Ukraine) studied at Ukrainian Printing Academy (1977–1982) and in Moscow Literary Institute (1989–1991). In 1985, he founded the literary performance group Bu-Ba-Bu (Burlesk – Balahan – Bufonada i. e. Burlesque-Bluster-Buffoonery). He has published five poetry books, six novels and four books of essays. His books are translated and published in Poland, Germany, Canada, USA, Hungary, Finland, Belarus, Russia, Serbia, Italy, Slovakia, Spain, Switzerland, France, Czech Republic, Croatia, Romania, Bulgaria, Lithuania, Macedonia, Slovenia. He is a laureate of six prestigious international literary awards: Herder Preis (2001), Erich-Maria Remarque Friedenspreis (2005), Leipziger Buchpreis zur Europäischen Verständigung (2006), Central-European Literary Award Angelus (2006), Hannah-Arendt-Preis für politisches Denken (2014) and Vilenica Award (2017).
