Six poets from five countries reading their poems in five languages are representing our festival with its idea of crossing the lines. Two of our laureates (elected by other participants) are writing in Russian while living in Ukraine and Montenegro respectively; one more poet lives in Latvia but writes in almost extinct Livonian; Latvian, Belarusian and Hebrew also will be heard. All the six in their poems challenge any kind of separation willing to build bridges and enjoy human communality.
