Çağla Meknuze

Çağla Meknuze is a Turkish poet and artist who seeks to reveal the metaphor in reality and the reality in metaphor. She graduated from the Faculty of Communication at Galatasaray University (Istanbul, Türkiye, 2007). An award-winning poet, her works have been published in various international platforms, including the 2017-2018 World Poetry Almanac. In 2014, she received an Honorable Mention in the Varlık Magazine Yaşar Nabi Nayır Youth Awards for Poetry. The award-winning poetry manuscript, titled Azizenin Ölüsü, was subsequently published as a book. She was a guest artist at the 2021 Baksı Museum Young Artist Residency Program (Bayburt, Turkey) and at the 2020 Writers Unlimited in The Hague, Netherlands, as a finalist of the Be Mobile Create Together! project. She has participated in numerous international literary festivals, where she performed her poetry. Her works have been translated into English, Dutch, Croatian, Serbian, Bulgarian, French, Swedish, Kurdish, Hebrew, and Persian. She currently resides in Luxembourg.
