Rune F. Hjemås

Rune F. Hjemås is an author, editor and translator living in Trondheim. He has written several books in different literary genres, including short prose, poetry, novel and short stories. His latest books are a collection of short stories called Klimaendringer (Climate changes, 2021) and a youth novel called Ein bror i verdsrommet (A brother in outer space, 2021). He is co-founder of small independent press Beijing Trondheim, and in 2018 he was one of the editors of an anthology of new American poetry translated into Norwegian. He has also translated Thalia Field’s Bird Lovers, Backyard and Ocean Vuong’s On Earth we’re briefly gorgeous to Norwegian.
