The conditions under which hope doesn’t die:

It must between –7 and 12°C (to begin with),

The material must not be southern or powdery,

It has to be shaped into a tidy ball,

Palms should not be warm (that is: too warm),

You shouldn’t waste time on details

(Protrusions, indentations, tations),

It must be passed on quickly,

E.g. thrown or rolled down into a valley,

Which should be suitably angled,

Open and not ending

Suddenly (that is: too suddenly).

As long as it goes on (the valley),

The ball keeps getting bigger and the hope doesn’t die.

Once it rolls to the base,

You pull it (the base) out from under it.

It keeps rolling on. Keeps growing.

(izboklinice, udrtinice, inice),

hitro ga je treba dati naprej,

npr. vreči oz. zakotaliti v dolino,

ta naj ima ustrezen naklon,

naj bo plana in naj se ne konča

kmalu (se pravi: prekmalu).

Dokler traja (dolina),

se kepa veča, upanje ne umre.

Ko se prikotali do vznožja,

ga spodmakneš (vznožje).

Kotali se naprej. Raste.
