/ 14 February 2017Ars Poetica’s publishers’ series at the Taipei International Book Exhibition, TIBE
From February 16 to 21, 2017, Taipei, the capital of Taiwan, will host an international book exhibition by the name of TIBE 2017. Just like in the past, Literárne informačné centrum (The Centre for Information on Literature) will once again be represented at this event. In the Slovak book-stall, visitors will find a presentation of the translations of Slovak poetry published by Ars Poetica – the publisher’s series named “Poetry Reaching Out” – Slovak poetry in translation.
The inhabitants of Taiwan are very fond of literature – the TIBE exhibition is a six-day event visited by over 560,000 visitors every year, mainly comprised of publishers, editors, distributors, booksellers and librarians from all over Asia. The exhibition is a meeting place of publishers from China, Hong Kong, Japan, Korea, Malaysia, Macau, Singapore and Thailand. What’s more, this year’s honorary guest will be none other than our neighbour, Hungary.
