Second day of Goran’s Spring Poetry Festival

Three Vesopolis poetesses present themselves

After a successful opening night held on March 18 at the Vip club in Zagreb, the 52nd Goran’s Spring poetry caravan came to the Croatian National Theatre Ivan pl. Zajc in Rijeka, where it presented the three poetesses of the project Versopolis: Kim Moore from the UK, Luljeta Lleshanaku from Albania and Sigurbjörg Þrastardóttir from Iceland. In addition to a pleasant atmosphere and a theatre hall full of visitors and poets, the journalists from national and local television came to report on the event and interview our poetesses. This poetry reading event was specially dedicated to the presentation of the international poetry project Versopolis. On this occasion, our poetesses received poetry booklets of their selected works, while the audience had the opportunity to see the project’s video – Versopolis, Where poetry lives.
