New book by Regina Hilber

Only recently Austrian VERSOPOLIS-poet Regina Hilber published another book of poetry titled „Landaufnahmen“ (Limbus Verlag, 2016). These „land surveys“ she took from longer stays at different places in Europe. The six chapters of this book are named after the regions she visited. We encounter „The Alps“ and Italian „Frosinone“ and „Friaul“ as well as Eastern German „Brandenburg“.

Two more regions are very interesting for Literaturhaus NÖ as Regina Hilber spent altogether two months at these places thanks to exchange programmes built up by our institution. One is Slovakian „High Tatra“, where she stayed one month in October 2013 at the writers’ residency of Timrava in Horný Smokovec. The other place is Ptuj in Slovenia, where Regina Hilber was also taking part at the festival „The Days of Poetry and Wine“ in August 2012. This chapter is titled „Summer Slovenia“.

The poems she wrote at these very different six places are like a poetic diary with fascinating pictures, which she was carefully creating by her perceptive poetry.
